[In Sweden, we celebrate Yule Eve on December 24th, in the evening]

Yule Eve was different, yet the same this year.

I spent it with Karin and a few of our friends, having a kind of pot lock, a small tree with lights and lots of packages that some had made out of stuff they had, never used and that someone else might have better use of, candy and a cozy place to be.

Good food, games, nice talks, lots of laughter and silliness, love, close friendship, warmth, and Yule spirit, all relaxed.

This is one of the better Yule Eves I've had in a very long time. Trying to remember, it goes as far back as the Yule Eve at my aunt Karin's, back when I was 8 or 9, I think...

This is the kind of Yule Eve I want.

Well, that's what we say in Sweden.

GOD JUL

May your day be merry, joyful and full of warmth, friendship and love.

I'm a little extra happy because this year, we have snow(!!!) for Yule here in Stockholm! We haven't had that for years!
