The renter of the first apartment I went looking at, and incidently, the only apartment that I've said I really really really want, came back to me a couple of weeks ago and said that maybe we should trade after all. She had said no to begin with, but has had trouble finding anything else for herself.

Today, as a sign that she wanted to go through with this, she marked that she really really really wants my apartment in the database that we use. So, I guess it's time I get it rolling on my end.

This is what I'm moving into. She has requested that the move be in february at the earliest, which is fine by me. Yeah, I've given up on the original goal to get this done before Christmas, and that's OK, my son won't sleep in my apartment, this year.

I'm so happy that something is finally happening!

This is a smallish apartment, but it still has enough space for all that I want:

  • A living room with enough space to have an office corner.
  • A space for a dinner table that could sit up to 6 people.
  • Two bedrooms, where one probably also has enough space for an office corner. Both have enough space for a large bed, so I can pick and choose.
  • A walk-in closet, which I can easily partly be used as a server room.
  • Tons of more closets, so the walk-in one won't need to be crowded.
  • A small playground outside the apartment, well separated from the street by the apartment building itself!
  • A large grassy walking area in connection with the small playground, leading to a larger playground among others, all of this well protected from the street by the whole row of apartment buildings!

I honestly think this is the perfectest I could find, both for me and my son when he visits. My sons bedroom would double as a guest room when he's not here.
